Cognitive Hypnotherapy is all about tapping into the inner resource and potency of our subconscious mind. Hypnotherapy is not synonymous with a loss of control or autonomy. To the contrary: it puts you firmly in the driver's seat as the agent of change whilst able to access inner resources that may be lying dormant within you.
The subconscious is a dynamic force and sage source of wisdom within us. It's the reason we have expressions in our language such as "Trust your gut" or "listen to your intuition".
Cognitive Hypnotherapy involves a range of tailored interventions designed to nudge our subconscious into action to assist us in traveling in the direction we want to go down. It blends a range of disciplines including influences from Gestalt and Positive Psychology.
